Exit Veil is a 3D turn-based dark-psychedelic JRPG which combines the essence of classics JRPGs with mystical themes of tarot and the occult. Innovative, healer-focused combat pushes players to think more about survival than damage. Combined with a real life tarot deck featuring art by Imazato, players can explore a beautiful but decaying world and unlock the mysteries of the realms.

History

Cherrymochi began work on Exit Veil in 2019, and was working on pre-production through the pandemic. It launched on Kickstarter, and raised ¥14.4m in August 2022. Cherrymochi debuted a demo of the game at Tokyo Game Show 2023.

Cherrymochi is a forward-thinking, independent interactive media studio based in Japan. We released our first game, Tokyo Dark, in 2017, and are currently working on our first 3D game, EXIT VEIL, Cherrymochi’s leap into 3D game design.
